Post mortem #3
To say that I’m lazy is a lingual understatement, although perhaps in this case is not entirely accurate. I had intentions. Oh boy did I have intent. Like most things though I kind of left it, and then left it, and then left it some more, and then things happened, and somehow two years pass and I still hadn’t updated the site or posted anything significant.
To be fair I was busy with other things, with life in general and with my own sense of dread at picking up the Rosetta stone and trying to work out what the hell I was doing with the CSS code, and then there was a major WordPress release, and as cathartic as that sounds I decided to bin the old theme and start from scratch with this whole block nonsense to play with.
So back to square one, well square two.
I still have plans for the design, I’ve got a few ideas noodling about content. I’m going to add some board game stuff I think rather than split it off as this is a case where the more eggs I put in this one basket the more impetus I may have to keep updating it. Presently though I’m happy enough just getting back into the web design game.
So fingers crossed I wont stumble upon these ramblings in another two years time and wonder why the hell Im paying for a domain I never use, and actually do something cool with this site. As it stands I am going to par back my whole ‘Magazine on the web’ thing for a more tempered games related blog for now and go from there.
Maybe add some video also.
